Terms & Conditions
Appointments
Appointments are needed to visit the club and check out the facilities. Please email info@newportbowls.com.au to make an appointment. Walk-ins are not accepted as staff may be unavailable.
Bond
A bond of $250 is payable by all activity providers (both casual and regular). All fees payable must be paid in full, 30 days prior to the booking (refer to Cancellation section). Upon satisfactory post-function inspection, bonds will be refunded. Allow 14 business days for issue of a refund.
Access
The hirer shall only be entitled to use the particular part/s of the building hired. Newport Bowls Club reserves the right to hire out any other portion of the building for any other purpose or purposes at the same time.
Minimum Hire Rates
A four-hour minimum hire charge applies for casual bookings. Set up and Pack up Time need to be included in the hire duration.
Alcohol
Newport Bowls Club is a licensed Venue with an operating bar. There is a strict no bring-your-own policy.
Catering
Whilst the club has an in-house caterer, no external catering is allowed to be brought into the premises without permission.
How to Book and Payments for Casual Users
A 25% of the hire fees non-refundable deposit fee is required to secure your event date. Balance payment is required 30 days prior to your event. If your event is less then 30 days away full venue hire fees must be paid. A bond ($250) will be required against damage to the Facility and/or fixtures and fittings or to cover additional cleaning. Provided there is no breach of the conditions of hire the bond will be refunded at the conclusion of the hire. NBC reserves the right to cancel a booking without notice if payment is not received more than 30 days prior to the booked event. Bank account details are to be provided by the Hirer to ensure refunds can be processed.
